Demographer.org publishes demographic statistics, charts, tables, definitions and country profiles for general informational, research and educational purposes.
The website is not a national statistical office, government agency, census authority, university or intergovernmental organization. References to external institutions do not imply affiliation or endorsement.

Content on Demographer.org does not constitute legal, financial, medical, immigration, investment or public-policy advice.
When a demographic figure is required for an official filing, legal process, funding decision, academic publication or administrative action, the value should be checked against the original statistical authority.
Data limitations
Demographic data can change after censuses, revisions, updated population estimates and changes in methodology. Different reliable sources may report different values because of reference dates, territorial scope, population definitions or estimation methods.
Demographer.org aims to identify these differences but does not guarantee that every value will remain current, complete or suitable for every purpose.
Projections
Population projections are conditional scenarios based on assumptions about fertility, mortality and migration. They are not guaranteed future outcomes.
Users should review the projection source, base year and variant before relying on a projected value.
